Blue Jasmine (2013) is the newest film written and directed by Woody Allen. This movie it is starred by Cate Blanchett with the participation of Alec Baldwin and Sally Hawkis.

In this movie Woody Allen tells the story of Jasmine, a misfortunate divorced woman that is now in bankrupt. After being a wealthy woman the only choice Jasmine (Cate Blanchett) has is to live with her adoptive sister Ginger (Sally Hawkins). Althought it sounds very simple as all the Woody Allen films sound; in it's narravite is where we can find the spectacular achievements of this film. So basically you have to watch it to notice the outer space cooliness of this movie

WHATS COOL ABOUT IT?

 Like if you view two different stories, we have the story of Jasmine the wealthy woman and we can go trough the two hours lenght film trying to find out what made her to be a misfortunate woman. 

In the other side we have Jasmine the misfortunate woman with her hysterics and her attempts to cope

So the whole film you will be find yourself  asking What made her so mad and sad? and Will she make it?

Almost in other places or pages they categorize the movie as Drama but still this film has that slight Woody Allen's Black humor. The movie is not just crying and tragedy mischief

Totally worth it to go and see it by yourselves in a Theater.
