Ten Essentials of Gore Cinema

Doing some research through different specialists of gore cinema we found the ten essential movies for gore cinema. 1. The Burning Moon (Olaf Ittenbach, 1977) This German ultra-gore movie has been attacked by the catholic church. It is about an old brother telling bedtime stories to his younger sister, working as an anthology of two horror stories. One story is about a psychiatric person that escapes from the hospital. The second story is about a priest who commits crimes by framing an autistic. 2. Men Behind the Sun (Mou Tun-Fei, 1988) This Chinese movie was made with the objective to show the atrocities committed by Japanese soldiers during their invasion in world war II. 3. Martyrs (Pascal Laugier, 2008) This french horror film was premiered in Cannes film festival on 2008. It is about Lucy a girl who escapes from a lonely building where she was been abused. After being accepted into an orphanage she will start to feel threatened by a woman with scars.
