Doing some research through different specialists of gore cinema we found the ten essential movies for gore cinema. 1. Martyrs (Pascal Laugier, 2008) This french horror film was premiered in Cannes film festival on 2008. It is about Lucy a girl who escapes from a lonely building where she was been abused. After being accepted into an orphanage she will start to feel threatened by a woman with scars.
