Warm Up Before Hallowen I: Tale's From the Crypt the Demon Knight

Tale's From the Crypt Demon Knight it was a theater presentation of Tale's From the Crypt TV series. It was directed by Ernst Dickerson. This movie has the participation of Billy Zane, William Sadler, Jada Pinkett Smith, and of course the Crypt Keeper himself, John Kassir.

The movie has an unexpected start, and then when we finally see the Crypt Keeper he starts telling his story as he use to in the TV show. Then in a dark lonely road we se two cars into a chase when we realice that William Sadler is driving and has to scape from Billy Zane.

This movie has all the elements of the TV show buy expanded with a bigger cast and better production. First starts with a mysterious character that is being chased and has to keep his identity as he approaches he finally finds a place to stay, a small wood place with enough room to serve a renting room house. As we advance in the story we learn more about the characters and the true face of the movie appears giving a twist in the style of From dusk till down.

So, this movie starts slow but it gets better and better. It gets that good that it makes you want to have a sequel, but instead we get a second appearance of the the crypt keeper telling us that the story is over. We don't want to give to much of this movie because its story is told by itself.

This movie is a perfect warm up for Halloween because will leave you with a thirst for more mystery, monsters and gore. After finishing this movie will remind you the glory years of when the show was still on air or when you watched the show before going out for candies.

The things that you can't see in the dark are there, just get close to them!
