Transforming your dreams into reality

The experience of creating your dreams and ideas into reality resulted more ease than we expected. It was more about planning and consuming time in strategies, and practices; so everything we do goes according to the plan and especially to the script the day of the real shooting.

On these days, I'm narrating my experience through everything I had to do so my crew and I could create ideas and thoughts into a reality. I hope these stories help everyone out there to forget about your barriers and mental bubbles, so at the end of the day or reading one of these passages you'll forget about your problems and start doing some are through images in movement. Because, for real, it is easier than it seems, but it is hard to get there, though.

Here is a scene that I created by doing some practice shots before the official film shooting day. We did some practice shoots, by reading the script and establishing the actor's and camera's position. We check for the light and background positioning. All this, helped to understand myself, and understand my actors in a way that they could understand what result I wanted to get. When finishing the shooting practicing, at the lab (or home) the recorded portions helped to experiment in editing, color, movement, titles, paste and cutting.

I hope these series of narrations that are coming help to you. Stick on these days, so you can learn and share about independent filmmaking with all of us.

Greetings!
The Captain Funk
